I am so indecisive and have so many ideas as to how I want to shape, manage, and brand my businesses that I can 'finalize' a logo, only to revamp it, after I've uploaded it to my Social networks, mailing account and signatures, and the whole gambit.

Using my creativity, my imagination, my agility, my instincts, etc. etc. to catch the perfect shot..on the perfect faces, I'm actively perfecting and building my Portfolio.

To date, I have had 5 Photo shoots..1 of which was with my mentor, Charles Sawyer, of Chase Charles Photography, to which I suggested a pose, which I think turned out great, and stole a few pictures of it of my own to add to my portfolio…again…it's all about the Portfolio at this point!

He's (Charles Sawyer) been a huge help in my development thus far, and keeps me on my toes with equipment ideas, necessities, and all of the above.

It was so gradual I lost myself as the days went by…
Life got busy…
Dinner became take-out and the steering wheel my place mat…
Dinner napkins where replaced with Shirt Sleeves…
Green veggies once steamed or raw included salt, cheese, and meat…
and potential for a vegetable induced block artery.

Throughout the day I starved thinking that was the best for me…
In the end, I couldn't resist the temptation of shoveling the fridge in my cheeks…
&$!% I was Hungry…

I had to let the calorie packed extra ideas go to lighten my thoughts.

Mind you and I want this…
Heart you need to find the equilibrium to pump just right to maximize my gym AMs and nights…
arms and legs..stay in tune cause the toning is coming soon…

I'ma need for not even my family to recognize me…
Complements are great but I'm working on my flexibility…
to pat my own self on the back…
once I get back on track.

Children are the future…teach them well and let them lead the way…these are wise words strung together and made unforgettable by Whitney Houston song "Greatest Love of All" in the early 80's.

This holds true for the way in which parents parent and kids learn as there older figures lead by a good example.

It's funny the things that you take for granted that others see and is obvious and at times surprising to onlookers.

I was recently in a Store and my young one was in the toy area, hands in pocket, meticulously perusing the small toy area and being very selective with what he chose to pick up and more carefully inspect for 'asking' consideration. After he was finished with his inspection, he'd put the toy back…maybe not exactly in the same spot he found it..but close enough. An older (about 60 or so) employee was folding clothes in the area but had an eye shot of my kid and was observing him. I'll trying to hurry the process and have my child decide. She began to compliment the parenting of my child and pointed out how kids these days just throw the toys on the floor, and just act like they ain't never been out the house before. I thought about it and looked at my kid, that was watching her but clueless I think of the point that she was making…"YOU (young man) are a good kid."

I digressed a bit, but not intentionally taking away from the true focus of this posting, Anaiah Rucker. A testament to good parenting and family value and Values that made at least this 9 year old grow angelic wings and be crowned with a golden halo.

I think generally, most people take themselves out of the limelight when it comes to doing something that you should do, and being given a title (like hero) by doing what action you performed. Does that mean that most people wouldn't do something that you did? Or does it mean that you are one in a million put in the position to show what we all are made of?

No matter what the answer to those questions are, this young girl, who will likely experience awkward looks, discrimination, the inability to do certain things that she once liked or never had the ability to experience, will always wear an invisible badge of courage and honor. After a few weeks and a few tears are shed after people are touched by her story of bravery, she will have had her proverbial '15 minutes of fame' for something that she (and hopefully us all), would do for those that are our loved ones and /or too young to protect themselves, would do twice over today, tomorrow, and the days after.

After I wrote this posting, I sent a few dollars to a Fund set up by United Bank in Madison, GA, to help out in my small way as she starts her new life on her fresh new course. So..recently a gentleman in nyc by the name of Roy Den Hollander sued Clubs in NYC that it was unlawful for women to get in the club free while gentleman have to pay. So, what had me confused then and even now is did he sue a handful of Clubs that maybe he frequents, or 'Clubs' in general. The below article states Clubs and lists two (Lotus and the China Club)  as examples..but I would imagine there were others.

Also important to note…this was a story that I had previously heard about while listening to CNN, so I didn't know any demographical details about the man that was standing up fo rall men. No picture was supplied. Nothing.

So of course..I took my personal experience into account and weaved it together with a bit of ignorance, added a few threads of racism, and my final product was that I figured this had to had been raised by a fellow Black dude!

For only the second time this year..I was mistaken!…Apparently my Caucasian brethren feel a bit mistreated when they experience and see this at a club also…Who Knew! My ignorance digresses.

A female friend of mine recently said to me "I feel sorry for men. Most women aren't opportunistic." I suppose being realistic, you can't group all apples in one bucket…there is always going to be at least on that parts from the group…however…I'd fight to the death to prove that the number is extremely high that 'MOST' women do seek out opportunity. By the way, on my Facebook page, I did wish you Ladies a Happy Women's Equality Day, and got a Subway Daily Value meal outta the deal.

Getting back to the story, when I asked my female friend when the last time she got into a club free of charge her response was..and I quote, "I don't club a lot…ummmmmm…a couple of months ago."..when asked if that was 2 to 3 months or 5 to 6 months..the response was 2 to 3 months.

OK…my interpretation of that (and hearing the radio advertisements and seeing it first hand when I gotta pull out my scratch and the woman in front of me gets to prance her 'pretty' (most aint), thirsty (all are) ass in the club)..meant that if she were to go out more, her story would have been the same but with a higher frequency.

Why do you do this Mr., Ms., Dr., and/or Mrs. Club Owner…why the man gotta be looked at as the Money tree…We recently celebrated as a Aug. 26 was Nation Women's Equality Day. yeah..that day does exist. But where is the EQUAL in the scale. Seems as tho the scale is tipped in the favor of the women.  

Men are looked at as being desperate..saliva dripping from the mouth cavemen..that in order to meet 'quality' women..men must pay. This is why men treat women the way they do, because they have already put the downpayment of the p*. What I need to respect you for. When we met, I had to run a tab just to show you that I'd spend the time, if you were will to GIVE the time. Sounds like an Escort service, right!? 

A few questions to ponder before I throw this gear into 6th…

• Are you the woman in the club that gets drunk off another dudes dime just to know that he doesn't even have a chance at even gettting your real number?!..
• Are you the women that laughs just to make the man feel like he's getting somewhere so he keeps 'Pouring' it on? (Pun intended).
• Are you that chick that is truly broke as hell and aint gotta dime to your name that is really drinking water and lime because you have to??

SMH…sad but tru that all of the afore mention exist..and are living amongst us in society..look to the left and right of you…if you don't see a potential candidate, maybe find a mirror. It's kinda funny that these people to whom I'm speaking of know who they are, and seldom admit it. Everybody claims they I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T…but need a ride home.

If polled how much money a women spends in a club it would be on average at least half that of her counterpart across the bar. Women know this. Women expect for a man to buy her drink if he asks her for her name. If it's not 'expected' it's surely not unwelcomed if the dude shows a bit of sincerity and offers. I dare a disagreement.

A personal heads up ladies..if you want a man to think of you as different…or stand out from the crowd or wolfpack…or even treat you better…share with him…share your mind..share the time..share the expense. Everyone these days are always looking for the next come-up, they don't care whose toes they step on, or whose shirt they still end up wearing because someone chose to give them their from off their back.

I did a bit of research and of the 2 gentlemen polled, at the venues they attended, women didn't receive any preferential treatment on the club/bar admission, and one gent did say that that a lady did treat him to a few drinks.

*Silent Applause* and wondering if she has classes, mentors other women, offers Go To Meetings sessions, etc.etc. 

But I am offering a way out….to prove me wrong…Ladies..next time a gentleman strikes up a conversation and if you notice that his beer is at about 1/3 remaining…buy that dude a drank…if he insists that he'll get it…you OVER-insist and tell him that iQ suggested that you do it. Prove me wrong that women aren't Opportunistic. Prove it to yourself that you can go to the club and spend a buck on somebody thats not you.

I applaud Mr. Hollander….he did what must guys have thought more than once…take action about the Club injust. Speak up and let it be known that women do ahve money and equality too. Tell the Clubs that just because the ratio is 4 to 1, that doesn't mean that I'm good for 5 drinks.

Liberate yourself. Liberate that dude that had to pay to get in and see you alongside the several other thirsty, desperate smelling, HIGH priced..LOW classed females that you're lined up against. LOL…I know I know…all yall aint LOW classed!…bu when you all will accept a drink…it's hard to tell who is who.  

So…next time you go to a club that you know ladies free and Men pay standardly til 11:30pm..and Men get pocket raped after 11:30pm…reach down deep and pull out more than your lipstick, an altoid, checkin yo text messages to see if your live-in buggin you.

I think the most complex thing about getting a tattoo is deciding on exactly what you want. What image could you see yourself walking around with for your entire life?

Of course this isn’t always the case. I have a friend that recently had a tattoo he had that was fading out completely covered with a whole new tattoo. It was pretty amazing, to say the least, the before and after pictures.

However, to get back to my point, usually your tattoo isn’t going to fade so much that it requires covering or becomes unrecognized, so I ask, "How do you decide?"

Well, for me, I walked into the tattoo parlor and found one in one of the books that I became completely attached to. I will get my 3 year old to take a picture of it..as he is a Photographer amongst other things in training. (My tattoo is shown at the end of this article.)

It takes a while sometimes to decide on what to get on your body.

This past weekend I met woman. She was cool. Not quite my type, but I passed some time with her. While we were talking she took the opportunity to sit on a pool table that was in the venue we were at, and in doing so I noticed a Tattoo on her ‘Upper’ thigh. Yeah…she knew what she was doing…trying to be a seductress…more potentially on that story in another posting..but…it was dark and all I saw was seemingly a partterned circular tattoo with some writing in the middle. I inquired as anyone would or does when they can’t quite make out what a tattoo actually is.

She said, "It’s a Man’s name….my ex to be exact."

OK….I was completely intrigued, as I have met only a handful of people that were….how do I say it…brave enough…in love enough….brain washed enough….or just plain stupid enough to get someone’s name in their body outside of maybe one of the below options:

"I love Mom"
"Daddy’s little girl"
"Daddy’s lil playa"
"RIP Grandma Betty"
"In memory of Pookie Dukes"

Any of the above would be completely acceptable. However, to have a Tramp stamp, or shoulder stamp, or thigh stamp, or neck stamp, or forearm stamp….damn it…ANY stamp…whether MAN OR WOMAN with any of the following at ANY age is completely unacceptable:

1. "I love Robert" or "I love Roberta"
2. "Chris’ Ass" or "Below are my baby James Michael III’s Goodies"
3. "Me and James" or "Jasmine and Me ins Luv" enclosed in a crooked heart

..or anything of the like are completely unacceptable.

OK, sorry for the delay..I’m back. So, this woman with the thigh stamp went on to tell me that her tattoo was her ex’s name and she had gotten it in High School. I made the comment, "I bet his head had to be (this big) when you got it." *Of course when I said ‘This Big’ I had my arms completely outstretched to denote the biggest EGO possible that any guy must have when his women shows him right then that he has made his mark and she’s going to wear it for life.

The next statement that she said floored me and I’m going to share it with you….I just giggled about it!

"He wasn’t really big headed about it because he had my name tattooed on him for a year before that!"

Now, I’m not saying I don’t believe in love and its "Powers’ (if you will), but, BUT, BUT….getting someone’s name on you without even being MARRIED..yes.."Mare read"…meaning that you have said your "I do’s…til I don’t's" to one another.

Getting some tattoo of a signif’s name in High School, college, or Senior Citizen Home…there is no difference! Some things you gotta know not to do…and if you do it…remember the scene from Gladiator, when Russell Crowe was in the corner scratching off his Military tattoo with a damn Rock! Yeah…he married the Military….got divorced from the Military..and divorced the Military tattoo too!

Oh and LOL at any dude p* whipped to the point that you get (God Forbid) you woman’s name tattoo on your body before she gets yours..hahaha…as my pops would say, "She got yo nose wide open!"

Right now, some dude is getting his girlfriends name tattooed on his neck…meanwhile….some girl is showing her man that HE IS THE ONE (RIGHT NOW) by getting…."These Ray’s Tits" right smack between her ta-ta’s.
